Biodec was originally founded in New Zealand in 2010, born out of a need for highly specialised decontamination services in response to the Christchurch earthquakes. With widespread structural damage, sewage intrusion, and mould contamination affecting thousands of properties, Biodec quickly became a trusted name in biological and chemical remediation — delivering high-quality outcomes for government agencies, insurance companies, and private clients across the country.
Built on a foundation of technical expertise, integrity, and a deep understanding of health-critical environments, Biodec has developed a reputation for tackling complex, high-risk contamination projects — including mould remediation, hazardous material cleanup, COVID-19 response, and pathogen control in sensitive environments.
Following a decade of proven success in New Zealand, Biodec expanded into Australia in 2021, bringing with it the same high standards, hands-on expertise, and science-backed methodologies.
Today, Biodec’s Australian operations are managed by Isaac Pickering, who brings a practical, hands-on approach and extensive experience in the field.
