When catastrophic flooding struck Lismore, NSW in 2022, many businesses faced unprecedented damage. One of the hardest hit was a local bank whose ground floor was inundated with Category 3 (black water) intrusion. Due to the contamination and structural impact, the space was deemed unusable until full restoration works could be completed.
Fortunately, the bank’s top floor remained unaffected, allowing operations to continue. To support business continuity, staff relocated upstairs while Biodec Pty Ltd installed a temporary containment wall, ensuring remediation works downstairs could progress without disrupting day-to-day banking services.
